Yummy baked asparagus fries

  
Asparagus is just packed with health benefits! Asparagus is a very good source of fiber, folate, vitamins A, C, E and K, as well as chromium, a trace mineral that enhances the ability of insulin to transport glucose from the bloodstream into cells.

what you will need:

  • Asparagus trimmed  
  • An egg (I didn't have any so I used 4tbs of butter)
  • Plenco or Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
  • Flour

 Preheat your oven to 425  
I actually ended up transferring all the ingredients to separate plates. Asparagus is too long to dip into pie plates! 

Dredge the asparagus one by one into the flour mixture. Then the butter or egg mixture. Then into the Plenco or breadcrumbs.

Place them all on a cookie sheet.

 The directions called for baking them for 10 minutes. I actually ended up flipping all of them and cooking for another five.

  

End result yummy soft crunchy asparagus fries! Enjoy!
