This was incredibly easy! I know how much I like simple and I strive to find recipes that are just that for my audience! Well, I’ve found it and here it is enjoy.
Ingredients:
- 4 tbs baking soda
- 2 tbs white Vinegar
- 1/2 tsp light corn syrup
- 2 tbs cornstarch
- food coloring
Wilton 601-5580 1/2-Ounce Certified-Kosher Icing Colors, Set of 12
Making your water color paints:
First mix the baking soda and vinegar together. It will fizz which is actually super fun to watch! When it stops fizzing add the corn syrup and cornstarch. Mix well until cornstarch is dissolved.
Now grab your food coloring and get to mixing. We used gel food coloring and I think it worked great. I just added little by little until we had the right color. They said it should dry for 2 days but we let it dry for a couple hours and it seemed to work just fine!
We used watercolor paper for our masterpieces!
