Pipe cleaner sensory play!

So today we played with pipe cleaners! I set up two different stations, one for toddlers and one for preschoolers.

For the toddlers I just stuck some into my strainer

They sat on the floor and pulled them out ran around with them and then put them back in! They did this for quite awhile.

For D I put together a sensory bin using:

  • Paper grass
  • Tupperware
  • Stuffed duck
  •  Pom Pom balls
  • Clothes pin

We pretended that the pom pom balls were baby birds and D picked up the  worms with the clothes pin and gave them to the baby birds! If I had a little younger we probably would’ve counted the worms and the baby birds! D quite enjoyed this!

After D played for awhile Caliger stuck the baby birds into the opening on the clothes pin. He was very proud of himself.
