I would imagine that if you have kids you also have walls with food and dirt on them. I have white paneling and a white door in my kitchen and they get so nasty! Until I found this sugar scrub recipe I really loathed cleaning walls. It was a chore, took forever and was hard work! I was pleasantly surprised how affective this scrub is and how clean every surface I used it on looked after I was done. I used it on my kitchen chairs and all my walls.
This all started because I was determined to find a better way to clean my walls. Pinterest is always my go to! I kept seeing a sugar scrub was the way to go but no recipe! It actually took me quite a bit of digging to find one but it’s a pretty simple recipe and I had all the ingredients at home.
I mixed the sugar, vinegar, and laundry soap together. Then I doubled it with hot water. You could also add some drops of essential oil.
When I put it in my spray bottle I diluted it by half again by adding the same amount of water as the scrub.
I used an old sock actually to scrub my walls and my spot mop on big surfaces. Both worked great.
If you would like to read the original posters blog Here it is.
Did you use liquid laundry soap? Did you dilute it twice with water?
